I got the recipe for this
apfelwien from the homebrewtalk forums and made some changes. This apple cider
was sweetened with honey. I made a hop tea with a little mouteka and ½ lbs of
dry malt extract. American ale yeast
gives the cider a clean taste.
The cider is a little dry and
the alcohol content is a bit to high to make this a sit down and drink
beverage. I will make this again just as it is; but I think I will do another
batch and kill the fermentation early to make a sweeter drink.
